Our Values

Empowered Ownership

Your results are yours—but you don’t have to figure it out alone. You’ll be guided, supported, and challenged to take ownership of your progress in a way that feels achievable, not overwhelming.

Sustainable Progress Over Perfection

All-or-nothing doesn’t work. We focus on small, consistent steps that build real momentum—so your results last, and your habits actually fit your life.

Root-Cause Resolution

I’m not interested in temporary fixes. I help you identify and strengthen what’s limiting your body—so you’re not just managing pain, you’re creating lasting change.

Confidence Through Capability

Confidence isn’t something you fake—it’s something you build. As your strength, mobility, and resilience improve, so does your trust in your body.

Coaching Without Judgment

You’ll be met exactly where you are. This is a space for progress, not perfection—where setbacks are part of the process, and you’re supported every step of the way.

What This Looks Like in Practice

  • You’re not handed a generic program. Everything is tailored to where you are right now—your body, your history, and your goals.

  • We focus on what matters most. Instead of chasing symptoms, we identify what’s limiting your movement and build from there.

  • Progress is built step by step. No extremes, no burnout—just consistent, sustainable progress that fits your real life.

  • You’ll learn as you go. You won’t just follow instructions—you’ll understand your body, your movement, and how to adjust when needed.

  • Setbacks are part of the process. There’s no judgment here—just support, problem-solving, and a path forward.

  • Your strength carries into real life. This isn’t about workouts for the sake of workouts—it’s about moving better, feeling better, and living with confidence every day.

This Is Where Things Change

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, managing pain, or wondering why nothing has worked long-term, this is your next step.

This is where you stop guessing—and start building a body that feels strong, capable, and reliable.

With the right guidance, structure, and support, you can move more, hurt less, and feel confident in your body again—without extremes, burnout, or starting over every few weeks.

You don’t need another program. You need a plan that works for you.

How I started my fitness journey.

In 2017 I took my first pole dance class at the tender young age of 42.

It was a big step to try pole dance as a middle aged woman with bit of a belly and a few dimples in places they didn’t belong; but suddenly I was sexy and strong and confident. I had NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE - not even as a child. Now I have achieved my certifications with multiple companies and my hope is to pass it on in an accessible, inclusive manner. Now I have transitioned to primarily Strength, Mobility, and sustainable life-long movement.

Currently, the majority of my classes are built around the foundational strength needed for dance and life. And my Wednesday series are all prehab driven, to keep healthy all the little things that break first. I also offer Personal Training Services and (LIVE ONLINE) Liquid Motion, Cardio Chair, Flexibility Flow Classes, Conditioning Classes, and prehab series.

I have worked hard to ensure you have the best experience -

NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) & Certified Strength Training Specialist (CSTS); AFPA Certified Master Health and Wellness Coach; ISSA Corrective Exercise Specialist; ISSA Nutrition Coach; Mindfulness and Meditation

Dance Specific Certs: Level 2 PoleStrong Strength and Conditioning Specialist; Body By Fran TTM Elite; Zumba; Liquid Motion® 1.0, 2.0, Heels, and Pole; XPERT Fitness Flexibility Flow; Moxie Movez Senior Pole Fitness; Cleo’s Rock N Pole Exotic Burn and Showgirl Spin Pole; Chair Dance Express.

What was I doing before dancing?

I wanted to be an athletic trainer in high school, but instead, I went into the Air Force Reserves as a Medic. Shortly thereafter, I spent 26 years traveling the world as a U.S. Air Force spouse. We were stationed in Illinois (had my son), Japan, Maryland, Italy (my daughter was born here), Nebraska, Germany, then landed here in Virginia before my husband retired in 2020. I had multiple careers in all those moves - bartender, bar manager, vault supervisor, club manager, Kirkland’s assistant store manager, Realtor, Sprint store manager, BMW salesperson, and then finally I became a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Air Force in Germany, then for the U.S. Army here by day, and of course in 2020, a fitness instructor by night.
I attained my Personal Trainer certification at 50, and feel like I have completed what I thought I would all those years ago.

I hope to work with you soon! ~Teri
