Training Plan FAQ
How is it delivered? This plan will come via a 3-page document. It will include all the classes as links to complete in order, you simply open the link on your device, and follow along!
What if I don’t pole dance? I worked hard to make the P2P Training Plan work on overall strength, conditioning, and mobility so whether or not you ever want to take an aerial class, you will see benefits. For example, wrist conditioning drills and grip strength are great for pole dancers, but did you know that having strong wrists may save your life in the event of a fall as you age?
Who is this program for? Whether you want to add more movement to your life, supplement your aerial training, or just get more consistent with movement, this program is for you!
Can’t I just find the exercises online and do them? You sure can. But have you? The beauty of this plan is you don’t HAVE to do all the research, planning and hoping you picked the right things to do. These plans are designed to get you moving again or supplement your current in class training. Let’s face it, in class you are in the mode to learn new things, and resistant to off the pole training. The P2P Training plan fills in those gaps.
Can I keep up with the exercises? The reason I designed this particular training plan is to help make it simple (not easy) to get you where you want to go. You complete your program in phases that gently move you from Procrastination to Powerful in a way that minimizes the impacts of diving in too quickly. You just need to commit to those few minutes every other day, click the class link and follow along.
How much work is it? Your total time commitment for an entire week is less that the time to take one class. Since it is right from your own home, you don’t have to prepare, commute or even get dressed! The results you get are a direct result of committing to that small time.
Is this program suitable for beginners? YES! It does not matter your reason for getting in or back in shape, we will start from where you are to help build something sustainable you can do right from home! Your goals could be making better habits, training for a specific Pole move, standing up without pain, having more energy, getting back into life, etc. Together we will adjust your workout to the level and specific needs YOU have.
Do I need access to a pole? NO. I have a bank of moves that require minimal equipment - yoga mat, block, stretchy band. If you want to work on Pole moves, it would be helpful to have a pole to add to the training, but it is not required. Your program will be built for YOU.
Do I need to be in shape? NO! If you need to get in shape, THIS is the program you need. It provides targeted movements designed for YOUR goals, and accountability to help make sure you follow through!
What is a Nerve Floss/Glide? This is a motion that prepares the body for movement by getting nerves to shift and find their proper “grooves” to flow freely. This way you are working your muscles, and not increasing nerve pain.
